Bug: Right-Left key volume adjusts default rendering device rather than selected one

To reproduce, set an audio output device (other than the default system device) as the one used by GBPVR. Change volume with left or right keyboard keys.

In my case the onboard sound is the default device, while a USB sound device is the one in use by GBPVR.

The expected result is the changing of the master volume of the selected audio device. The actual result is the changing of the master volume of the system default audio device.
