Hi

I've got a Compro videomate vista E900F running on windows home server and I'm trying to get it set up with gbpvr but i cant get past the configuration.

I tried searching but it looks like loads of people get the same error for various reasons so i thought I'd start a thread. I've had the card working perfectly on other programs and the tuningassistant find a few channels.

I've spent so long trying to find a program which works for this so i really hope you can help

Thanks

It is manging to find the device, and there are no errors hooking it up, but for whatever reason the device is failing to start.

Maybe its in use in some other software?

I've got like 4 other media centre programs installed but i closed them all and stopped all the processes after the first error. Also none of the others ever had an issue with another one using the card are the same time. i may of missed a service though. is there any way to be sure?

EDIT: it came up with this error when i tried again.

Full error message is attached. I couldn't see any info on the process causing the problem though.

Only the config app uses that file. Maybe try rebooting.

Maybe try deleting your capture source and recreate it.

I've done that several times with no change. could it be that I've put in some wrong info when setting it up?

Could it be the EPG settings? I've only tried setting it to DVB EPG broadcast.
