Hit the "map digital channels to epg channels" button to force a scan, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and i'll take a look.

Are you sure you're receiving a decent signal? It doesnt look like it in the logs.

Can you fine channels with the WinTV app?

The tuning assistant only looks at analog channels, so isnt checking the same type of signal. It was failing to find any digital channels.

Did WinTV also only find analog channels? or did it also find digital channels?

man i feel like an idiot! my brother had unplugged the cable to send the signal downstairs. so finally breaking down and checking it this morning has led to successful channel mapping. the moral of this thread is not to be so proud as not to check the physical connections. thanks for your time and energy anyway sub.
