The MVP's red led flickers and I can turn the power on/off but the GBPVR menu will not respond to any button presses. Up until recently this setup was working fine and I can't recall any recent changes to my setup.

I did a search and found old threads with the exact same issue but I didn't really understand the conclusion/solution. Also, I was not sure if newer versions of GBPVR addressed those older thread issues?

Anyway, I have tried a few other dongles which made absolutely no difference. Replaced batteries in the remote - no luck either. Can any one suggest something else to rectify?

Have you tried booting the MVP without GBPVR to see if it works? If it doesn't then maybe it's an issue with the remote...

Not sure I understand what you mean without GBPVR - I don't have any other mvp software. Do you mean just powering it on without the network cable attached?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look. Make sure you press plenty of buttons before post the logs.

He means like with the original Hauppauge software. This would give you a good indication of it is a GB-PVR problem or a MVP problem.

It looks like you've installed an old patch from somewhere. You need a newer version of NativeUtilities.dll. Look in the survival guide, I'm pretty sure there is an updated verison.

Sub,
I am having the EXACT same problem. My MVP remote works great when I start viewing a show. After 30 minutes or so, the remote stops responding even though the light on my MVP blinks each time I press a button. I am running the latest GBPVR (PVRX2 1.1.5) and mvmpc 0.3.4 dongle. Can you take a look at my attached logs?
I downloaded the NativeUtilities.dll but it did not solve my problem.
Thanks
