I've noticed that 1.1.5 seems to hang on resume from sleep mode running Vista in VMR9 FSE mode. This doesn't occur while running in EVR mode.

This is an issue I've had with a couple of prior releases but these have resolved themselves with the patches.

Can you check if you have the file DelayedStart.exe in your gbpvr directory?

I can confirm the same. The windows start bar is visible in front of pvrx2 (has something stolen focus?), but pvrx2 is not responsive to anything other than Alt-F4.

I have the file DelayedStart.exe.

This sounds very much like the DelayedStart problem (http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...ostcount=4) that also occurred with 1.0.16. If I recall correctlt, this only occurred for nVidia graphics cards.

What graphics card are you using?

I do indeed have a Nvidia, a GF 7050PV.

Last couple of lines of PVRX2.exe.log (I pressed Alt-F4):

2007-11-13 14:59:26.437 VERBOSE [1] HideMouse ref=-1
2007-11-13 14:59:27.921 VERBOSE [1] System is going to low power state...
2007-11-13 14:59:44.703 VERBOSE [1] System is waking from low power state...
2007-11-13 14:59:44.703 VERBOSE [1] flushDatabaseConnections()
2007-11-13 14:59:45.203 VERBOSE [1] OnPaint()
2007-11-13 14:59:48.531 VERBOSE [1] HideMouse ref=-1
2007-11-13 15:00:00.875 VERBOSE [1] Key pressed: F4, Alt

2007-11-13 15:00:00.906 VERBOSE [1] Exiting...

Doesn't seem to be looking for DelayedStart.exe, which is present.

Try adding the following line in config.xml, then restart the app.

<FSERestartImmediately>true</FSERestartImmediately>

If that still doesnt work for you, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Hi Sub,

No, unfortunately that made no difference. I've attached the full set of logs.

BTW, been using GBPVR for years, have tried loads of others, but keep coming back. Just wanted to say a big thanks Smile

Is that something new in the latest version sub? I remember you mentioned you were going to look into the FSE wakeup behaviour after 1.0.16 to see if it could be optimised?

Just want to say, that I am having this problem also. My card is an ATI 9550. The DelayedStart is in the GBPVR folder.

Yes, its new. Its intended to work around the situation where some users werent getting the WM_ACTIVATEAPP message after waking the machine. Adding that setting tells the machine to restart immediately at wake up rather than waiting for WM_ACTIVATEAPP.
