While Watching Live TV Sometimes the video and audio loose sync. They seem to come back after a while and then loose sync again a little later. I wonder if it has anythign to do with timeshift mode. I don't know how to get out of timeshift mode properly? Like once I'm caught up to Live TV how do I stop the recording process?

My card is the HVR-1600
I'm using the GBPVR.EXE... X2 won't run on my setup.(If you know why please share)
1ghz P3
512 RAM
New WD 80Gb HDD

Thanks... I've just got so much to learn about this stuff.

All I can suggest is using a different audio video decoder combination and/or a different audio renderer option.

It stays in timeshift mode until you change channels.

Your CPU is a little on the light side for PVRX2, but it should run. What video card have you got, and what happens when you try to run it?

Sorry I couldn't get back right away, been busy. Thanks for the reply. I will ply with my audio decoders...

On PVRX2, when I launch it, in windowed mode, it will open the window, and thats it, there is nothing but my desktop in the window. Same in fullscreen, it looks like nothing happened, just shows my desktop, but you can't click anything, and in windowed if you drag the window around, it takes a "snapshot" or my desktop and moves that around.

I tried to play with the VMR9 Custom, options, but with no success. I'll try reading through some of the posts, but any help is appreciated.

What videocard do you have? Several nvidia Geforce MX card owners had these same symptoms until they installed newer video card drivers.

No, I mean the video card you use to connect to your monitor or TV.

Not old. Ancient. My psychic powers are predicting the future... I see sub saying you need a newer video card.
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

I guess in the computer world, yes this poor computer was even running Windows 98 up until this summer...

OK, so I tried searching for some recommendations, but couldn't really find any. I haven't browsed the WIKI yet, but what would be a good video card to go with?

Given you have an HVR-1600, I can only assume you want to be able to do HDTV stuff. This generally requires a powerful video card. Most often you hear the nvidia 6600 cards as the minimum for HDTV. I'm not sure what the ATI equivalent minimum would be.
