I love using the second monitor for displaying my shows -- displaying my shows on my TV helps it to feel like I'm not using a geeky solution for my TimeShifting woes
However, having to resolve conflicts and confirm recordings on my TV does leave me feeling like I'm using a geeky solution
What I have been doing is running the Config, then turning off "Start on second monitor" then turning on "Show in windowed mode", then reversing the process when I'm done cleaning up my settings. However, saving the Config settings has the uncomfortable side-effect of restarting the recording service, which chops any shows that are currently recording, meaning that I can't comfortably fix recording conflicts if a show is recording
If there was a command-line option for the "second monitor" and "windowed mode" settings, I could create a desktop icon expressly for this sort of task, without the bother of going through the config. I think this would be a good solution, but I'm open to better ones. :p
Thank you, Sub, for a great piece of software that truly has stood the test of time.
