Freecom Usb stick

I've just purchased a new Freecom stick to replace a damaged one.
The hardware configuration says its a REALTEC 2831U and thus does not work GBPVR.
I've tried altering with the BDA.ini file with no luck.

Can someone tell me what I need to add to the BDA.ini file from this.

Hi re tried the addition to the BDA.ini was the same as i tried and when I tried to scan for channels I was told my device failed to initilise and got the following log file

I'm not really sure. Its not a bug I've seen before.

Can you see if setting <BDAAutoDetectTuner>false</BDAAutoDetectTuner> in config.xml makes any difference?

still the same it does not seem to be initaiting the tuner when you click scan

Sorry, I dont really know.

There seems to a million different drivers for Freecom sticks, so I'd try a different set.
