Client/Server question

really basic I guess but can i install GBPVR on a different computer on my network and run that machine as a client so that it can access recorded programmes from the 'server' machine that has my tv card in?

Yes. There is settings in the config app for this.

If you do a forum search, you'll find some threads that disucss how to set it up/

and the next question...

can one set up GB-PVR as a media server for Live TV, the way Media Portal TV Engine (aka Media Portal server) does? I'd like this but can't seem to find any documentation to show it can be done.

The client setup described in that first link also work for live tv. (I didnt read the second link)
