Hi,

Just a quick thought. Would it be possible / easy to include a new option in the system menu of PVRX2 that restarts the software. It could go with the hibernate, sleep etc options.

This would save getting up if things go wrong (e.g. sometimes the screen goes choppy with EVR and a software restart solves this.

If there is already something that can do this, could someone point me in the right direction??

Hi,

If you are using the Hauppauge remote, why not map a key as I have done belowin the irremote.ini file? This uses the pskill program from sysinternals

GRNPOWER={run(c:\utils\pskill.exe pvrx2.exe)}{sleep(200)}{run(c:\progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\pvrx2.exe)}{sleep(2000)}{findwnd(,pvrx2)}{fgnwnd()}

You could do this with Girder as well, if you are using using that for your remote control. I have the power button on my streamzap remote (on a client computer) mapped to start PVRX2 using Girder.

or you can just create a custom menu item on main menu and link it to restart.bat in gb dir...Smile

restart config twice to make it visible in config first..
[and enter "%comspec%" as command, [it will change upon [ok], keep changes] and " /c restart.bat" as parameters..]
[only works in newest ver of pvrx2 tho]
