error code: no channels have been set up

I have run the update epg for schedules direct. That works fine and imports the channels correctly. I can even edit the information under "channels". When I start gbpvr and click on any link it gives me the full error message. "Use the 'update epg' button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and program information."

I have read over the instruction manuals and forum posts several times and I have not been able to find an answer to my problem. I have installed all of the pre requisite software and I am at a loss. I have never sent a post before so I am interested to see how this goes. Thanks for your help.

It may be vista getting in the way. Delete the directory c:\users\<user account>\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\devnz\gbpvr. Then try running the app again.
