How does the S-VID from the 7600 physically connect to the PSP?
Really cool, but like pBS said we need more info ![]()

i wish it was native but its s-vid out to a location free this has a tuner and 2 inputs and a blaster to control devices sony doesnt have a code for the hauppauge remote i have so i made the serial ir receiver to let uice use one of the jerrold cable codes to run gbpvr.yes its wireless its streaming over wifi but the remote is really slow.

Yeah, I kind of do the same thing, but don't have location free.
I have a custom firmware installed with a piece of software called Pimpstreamer. That allows me to stream any video from the PCs in my network. I also use vnc on the psp to remote into the PVR box and do whatever. Works OK - but obviously the 11b wireless is not the best for videos. I guess I could hook it up to actually watch the gbpvr box (using a second pc) but EWA and / or VNC seems to work great.

Quote: i could just get it on my cellphone to work with it You mean for video? or just the interface. I have a VNC client for MIDP 2.0 - but the scrolling annoys me. If you have a phone with a big screen and wifi (thinking the SE W950 here) then you might be able to use the VNC easily and have your gbpvr interface. I don't know about the video though, you would have to create a stream type which your phone understands, and stream it over wifi (I don't think you would be able to send it over GPRS)

I just got a PS3 and am still finding my way around it, and updated to version 2.20 lastnight. How do you stream to the PS3 from GBPVR ? I have a uPnP server (TVersity) running on my GBPVR machine to send music to my Netgear MP101 music player. The PS3 found the server but couldn't play any music saying the files were unknown format when they were .mp3 Can the PS3 see SMB shares ?
