It looks like all the mpeg2 channels will get shuffled around to free up a mux that will be used for mpeg4 HD broadcasts, but not until 2010.

Set top boxes will have to be replaced if you want the HD, but IIRC somebody here was able to recieve the, London only, test transmissions with a Haup NovaT and an Mpeg4 codec.

I could get BBCHD in london with a nova-t but not with gbpvr at the time, I used dsp-worx filter that allowed you to watch tv in media players. I got 7fps as my pc is not fast enough

It should work with GB-PVR also, but you need to have the Cyberlink H.264 decoder installed.

This was approx 1 1/2 years ago, so gbpvr didn't support h.264 recording.

McBainUK it looked very good, Monster inc was stunning and the world cup looked good.

Nope it stopped sometime ago on dvb-t but it continues on dvb-s as far as I know.
