Greetings

I've got a mkv that plays fine on my main computer but on the gbpvr system the audio "worbles". Any ideas what to look for ?

Since mkv files are just containers the first think I would do is download mediainfo to get an idea of the contents of the file and the codecs required.

I had tried gspot but that didn't help so I'm grateful that you pointed out mediainfo Smile

Not sure what to look for since there are no errors there and since first posting I tried watching the mkv with vlc and media player. Both played just right without audio problems.

Now it seems that I need to narrow down why pvrx2 fails the audio.

Download and run GraphEdit then select the 'Render Media File' menu option, and select one of your problem files. It'll show you the default components your Directshow setup will use for the playing that type of file.

Chance are you need to install a different default audio decoder than it is currently using.

OK I have that here (attached) but not really sure how to read it (or what to make of it).

::EDIT:: Updated the graphedit screenshot with only one rendering

Did you render the file twice?

First I think I clicked on the open icon and picked the media file and then saw the render media file option and did that.

Should I close graphedit and try again only using the render media file option once ?

I have run the graphedit rendering once and replaced the screenshot above.
