Build 69 of EWA has been released. You can download it here or on the wiki.

This upgrade requires GBPVR 99.12 or higher to work.

Post any issues in the EWA Support Sub-Forum.

Date: 2007-12-01 Build Number: 69 Changes:
  • UncleJohnsBand: Corrected auto-record duplicate recording issue.
  • UncleJohnsBand: CSS Changes:
    • Moved Statistics back to top with rest of the navigation tabs.

  • UncleJohnsBand: CSS Notes:
    • CSS Note: CSS screens are now optimized for screens with 1024x768 resolution or higher. Lower resolution will just cause more scrolling on some screens.
    • CSS Note: Theme colors are for contrast only.....this is not an actual theme color scheme.
    • CSS Note: Please post feedback/bugs in the EWA CSS Guide sticky thread located in the EWA support forum.
    • CSS Note: I am now working on the last screen conversion to CSS. Following its completion I will begin on a real theme.

Hi UJB,
69 seems to work fine.
The patch you released for 68 made my recordingservice stop.
But as 69 is working fine there's no need to worrySmile.

I am Using verion 69 for a few days now - no issues found at all.

Only one thing: the auto record function woks when starting the EWA. Can it be scheduled to run in the background as well? maybe something for the future?

I'll buy that... a completely automatic search and record - great if you're away from home for longer than your EPG lasts.

2nd that, I thought it actually did run in the background but IF it is only on EWA start, I better start opening it every day... which sorts of defeats the purpose a bit.

Wouldn't be to difficult to do as a side project....it wouldn't be in EWA since EWA is Enhanced Web Admin.....and by nature web apps really don't run in the background.

Could either create a command line app that you could schedule to run via the windows scheduler or create a service that would just hang out in service land and could run based on a time(s) stored in a config.

Thoughts?

I'm easy with either. I guess service is better for those with lots of grunt (can you tell a service how often to check?) whereas a scheduler could be scheuled to re-occur every day week hour, whatever, for control freaks :-)
