Has there ever been one without? I'm not sure if I understand you right.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

yeah i wasnt too clear when I asked, acutally we were without EPG for a bit when zap2it went out of service, but I answered my question pretty much right after I posted the question when I saw the ad for CT Listings which is free...

hah, yea, those ads are quite blaring. Other free options include my own yapi2xml (which takes from Yahoo, and gives 14 days rather than CT TV Listing's 4) (see signature for link) and a program that takes from MCE.
