Padding and Back-Back Recordings clarification

From what I've read on the forum, even when you have multiple spare tuners padding at the end and start of back to back recordings is ignored?

Is there a way to disable this? I would rather back to back recordings alternated on different tuners and preserved their padding.

Make sure you have this patch installed: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...ostcount=6, and these settings in config.xml:

<PreferAlternatingCaptureSources>false</PreferAlternatingCaptureSources>
<TryToHonourPaddingIfPossible>true</TryToHonourPaddingIfPossible>
