Anyone know if the D-Link Wireless Media Player model DSM-320 will work with GBPVR?
For only $49.99, its kind of hard to pass up

It doesnt have any direct integration like you'd get with the Hauppauge MVP (giving GB-PVR's menus screens etc), but you should be able to use it to at least play files that GB-PVR had recorded earlier.

This is my primary configuration. I started with the 320 and added a 520 later. I found GB-PVR after I had my 320. I also have an MVP which I got during the RadioShack clearance at a price I couldn't pass up, but I never had a reason to make it my primary interface.

Can you tell us how does the 520 deal with Pause, Rewind, forward on mpg files as well as avi files ? I have the Buffalo LinkTheater and though is pretty good on streaming GBPVR recordings and avi files, its FF-RW-Pause controls suck big time. ALso, does the 520 support srt subtitles and/or ISO dvd files ? |
