Mousewheel side scroll support in TV Guide

It would be nice if I could use the mousewheel tilt function to scroll through time periods in the TV Guide instead of just the arrow keys. I know I could use SetPoint and rebind those functions but I don't have SetPoint installed and I've seen other programs (Joost for example) that support it natively.
