A Novice Needs Help - adding channels

Hi,

I have just installed GBPVR v1.1.5, but I cant seem to add any channels properly.
The 'Tuning Assistant' can find all 5 channels that my Hauppauge HVR-4000 (yes I know, very old! :o ) can recieve, I can get the EPG for them and I can tune to them using the cards software just fine, but GBPVR just gives me a blue screen, even though I have added the channels under 'Capture Sources' and they appear under 'Channels' in the Configuration.

Im stumped :confused:

Can any help me?

Do you have the correct channel numbers in the capture source channel list? These should match the channel numbers shown when you run the Tuning Assistant. If they do, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Ahh, that was the problem, thanks.

But now when I try to watch a program that's currently recording, it just comes up with a black screen and stops responding untill I press the Esc key, and recordings are always 0KB. Why is that? :confused:
