I recently changed my server's config 'Recordings Directory' to a unc (\\Titan\PVR\TV Recordings) instead of a drive letter to support net-radio on a client machine.

I just noticed that on the Statistics tab I get
'Recordings Directory: Could not load disk info for \\Titan\PVR'
the Live TV Buffer folder is still a drive letter and is displayed OK.

not a major issue, but as a big user of auto-record, I like to keep an eye on my disk status.

Yea....if I recall correctly UNC will not work with the coding for determining disk space. That is one area of EWA I haven't done much work on. You could try running the gbpvr recording service under an admin account rather than local system account.

I think the issue is that instead of being able to access a local drive it has to come in via the UNC and tries to attach as a network resource.....but I am not positive.

Edit: I just looked at my setup and I am using UNC coding for my recordings directory....the drive is on the local machine. I do have a share setup on the drive as well with everyone given full permission.....perhaps that has something to do with it working.

Edit 2: You could also try renaming your directory to tv_recordings rather than having the space....it may be having an issue with a space in the name.

Edit 3: There is error information written to the log.....what is showing up there?

The drive is on the local machine, I set up a share on the drive and gave 'everyone' full permissions, replaced spaces in the folder name with _

When I go into Statistics tab this error is logged...

Is your share on the whole drive or just a folder? Mine is on the whole drive....share is set at the root.

Let me know.

I'm out of town for a few days, but from memory I set up shares as you suggested here

I'll be back home at the weekend - I'll check this and confirm...
