I have recently upgraded my computer and reinstalled everything.

I reinstalled GBPVR in probably a way I shouldn't have, I replaced the gbpvr folder then ran the installer I shortly found out there was another new version and then upgraded. I now have two errors I'd like to fix, I believe they have always existed in this install.

I have two recordings, a manual recording that span sevel hours on saturday and sunday night. I have three manual recordings but only the longer one that actually starts before midnight and stops afterwards does not record, it fails for no reason.

Also I get an error when trying to access gbweb, I have reinstalled the web plugin and get the same error.

Also when installed windows I installed the .net 3.5 runtime which was said to include .net 1, 2, and 3.

The computer's name has change since it was installed.

Windows XP sp2
.net 1-3.5 (2 had to be reinstalled separately)
GBPVR 1.15
Hauppauge PVR 350

You'll need to reset your logging level back to 'debug', then reproduce the problem and repost the logs.

... Ok I'll do this if it is to happen today I don't think I'll be able to reproduce logs with the error until 10PM Central time.

Also thanks for being around and vigilant during the holidays!

Happy Holidays.

I just looked at my pending list, for some reason the recording to take place tonight isn't listed, it will take me until next weekend for another recording to fail.

Its weird, the recording thats supposed to take place today is listed as

12/23/2007 9:59P - 12:30AM failed. Of course this time hasn't even passed yet. I don't think anything would be written about this since I changed to debugging so I'll just still waiting until this weekend. Just thought I'd say that because... its weird.

As stustunz is suggesting - If you've had your PC time set to the future, then recordings between now and that date would be marked as 'failed', even if you have since set the date correctly.

I should have mentioned that, the date has been set correctly since before GBPVR was install. Correct timezone too. I've been a stickler about that since using timer recordings. (it also makes you notice not all stations run with a clock that is in the same minute.

I'm pretty sure you must have briefly had the time set incorrectly.

The only situation GB-PVR will ever mark a recording as 'failed' is if the recording service loads the reloads recording list and finds a 'pending' recording with a end date in the past. All other error situations (device not being present, failing to lock a signal, etc), will end up with a 'ready' recording which will bomb out when you attempt to play it.

looking at my epg data? Like how? Shows show up at the correct time and I have other manual recordings that go like they should. Its just that these two don't work, they also happen to be the only two that crosses 2400. They did work before the switch just as did the web interface.
