Has anyone using the Radio Times grabber noticed that nothing seems to be returned for 2008?

I did a quick google, and found some other complaints here:http://talk.radiotimes.com/thread.jspa?t...=400000735, but nothing else.

Hi Alan,

Hope you had a good Christmas.

Radiotimes.com recently moved to new hosting and the xmltv data feed is temporarily unavailable. We're working on this as a priority and will have it back up and running again shortly.

I'll get in touch once again once our infrastructure team have sorted it out.

Thanks

Simon

Their main website has listings up to the 11th January, maybe the XML format data just hasn't been updated yet. Sad

Luckily we have the DVB EPG Broadcast option if it dosn't return.

But where do I get my sky listings Sad

Their XML directory only shows filenames dated around the 19th Dec. Hope they fix it soon. http://xmltv.radiotimes.com/xmltv/

haven't noticed, but hope they sort soon. was running DVB-T epg alongside xml and big difference between the two.

if this doesn't come back, is there a pay option in the UK for sky channels etc?

We do but it's a right PITA to swap my 3 tuners over to the very slow to update, DVB stream.

Plus as others have said, I for one won't get sky listings on my DVB-S tuner.

Maybe the BBC has too many resources launching their iPlayer right now?!

David.
I got carried away: 3 DVB-T tuners, a DVB-S tuner, 3 MVP's and 1.1TB of storage space Smile

If you have something like a nova-t-500 (like me) do you have to grab the dvb epg for each source. Seems to take an age (compared to xmltv).
I've just tried it on one source and gone back to xmltv but notice that it has set as pending some season recordings into next year on the freeview channels. Red lights in the sea of darkness Rolleyes

You only need to load the EPG once - just checked the log. It takes approx 60 secs per mux - so about 6 minutes - I set it to automatically update every night at 4am. Works great for me.

Alex

Edit: you can also update it on the fly from the GBPVRTray menu...

I work at the BBC with the iPlayer team and there are only about 30 people developing it. One of the other 27,000 BBC employees must be able to load the data! They are not spread that thinly ;-)

Is there an alternative that can be used with an analogue only tuner? I only have channels 1 - 4 as I live in a digital blackspot. It looks like I can only use DVB EPG with a digital tv card?
