Free XMLTV?

Hello, i am new to GB PVR, I have installed it and am attempting to set it up, however i need a xmltv plug in? I read an earlier post saying that Zap2it is no longer working. What are you using, and if it is free, how do I set it up. Sorry for my ignorance...

For the US it looks like it's either Schedules Direct or MC2XML.

but also, as a new user you'll probably be better off installing the new NPVR software. GB-PVR development has ended.

mc2xml does not seem to be working correctly for me anymore. I have been using it to retrieve the Microsoft legacy guide information. The command prompt now says "missing -c". I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if the program is no longer able to connect/retrieve the data. I'd be interested to know if schedules direct is still available through mc2xml.

Just last night I tested MC2XML and had no problems retrieving the MS legacy EPG for my area. I also use it on my HTPC to retrieve Schedules Direct, which continues to work just fine.

-c is supposed to be your country code, "us". Perhaps you inadvertantly changed your command line? With current versions of MC2XML if you delete the .dat file and then run it it will bring up a GUI to let you select your options which will then be saved in the .dat file for future runs.

You can get the latest version from the site linked in the NPVR support sticky (see my signature). At last report the download from server #2 isn't working, but server #3 is ok.
