no search matches found dialog doesn't go away after selecting OK

I searched for some text, a dialog popped up saying no matches found, I select ok button, dialog fades away buts is still barely visible, like it didn't finish the fade away and then dismissal of the dialog. I have to hit any button after that to make the dialog go away.

I've noticed this occasionally occurring also. I'll take a look at the dialog code to see if I can have it do a cleaner job of painting the screen when the dialog is shut down.
