Hello
I am pretty new to GBPVR so I am probably doing something wrong, but here is my problem.

I am in New Zealand trying to load an EPG. I have tried the file from the following location:
http://epg.pvr.geek.nz/epg/listings-sky.xml.gz (unziped of course)
and the utility from Djkxml at:
http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/Djkxml (generates TVGuide.xml)

Both times I load the .xml file and I get channels but no shows. I checked the .log files and apparently the shows can't be found in the .xml files.

I have tried on a brand new install of GBPVR 1.1.5 (out of the box - no plugins) and get the same problem.

I am under the assumption that the TV Guide gets loaded to a database file. Can any one tell me where it is?

I have been in contact with the author of djkxml, but we haven't managed to resolve it yet. And I thought as this is happening with another .xml file from another source it might not be specific to djkxml.

Here is what I do in the config program
-Run Config.exe
-Select 'Capture Sources' tab
-Press 'Edit' on the source Name
-On 'EPG Source' put 'XMLTV Plugin' and press Settings and select the .xml file (e.g. TVGuide.xml)
-Then press 'Update EPG'

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I have attached logs and the TVGuide.xml file

Its an invalid xmltv file because it has channel 11 in there twice:
Code:

    <display-name>Sky 1</display-name>
    <icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/sky1.jpg" />

...snip...

    <display-name>E!</display-name>
    <icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/E.jpeg" />

Assuming djkxml lets you disable channels you dont want, then you just need to disable one of these channel 11s.

Wow nice one sub - thats it. I also checked the other file from
http://epg.pvr.geek.nz/epg/listings-sky.xml.gz
and

appears 3 times?!?!? Sad

Looks like I will have to mention it to the author of djkxml.

Thanks alot for your help and such a speedy response Big Grin

Yeap, to select/deselect which channels are downloading, use the command line:
djkxml.exe config

But the good news is, I have fixed this problem in version 2.2.2
