Hi sub,

For some reason, my resume doesn't resume any more (yes I have the resume prompt set in config), it sorts of jumps to the resume location VERY briefly, then goes back to the start of the movie, which really bugs me, as it used to work beautifully

The times of the movies (in logs) I tried to resume are between 7:30pm and 10:30pm last night.

Hope you find something, it'll raise the WAF, Thanks!

I noticed this

Code:

It's possible that GBPVR doesn't know these are the same file.

Yes :o, I did delete one of them later, but the non-resume thingy is on any file I try and play.

I see this problem too. It is sporadic for me. I only seems to occur on my MVP, but I don't watch enough recordings directly on my PC to be certain that it does not occur there too. Once the problem occurs for a recording, it will persist for that recording.

I have speculated it might be related to mvpmc, but I am not certain. When I switched to using it, I made a bunch of changes (Vista, new system, second tv card).

I guess I should add I pretty much 95% use the MVP too, if that helps.

Create a log that shows the problem and I will have a look.

Unfortunately I'm separated from my MVP for a few days (out on loan), so I'm not able to test this at the moment.

Here are my logs, should not be too different from 1st log up above though. New start (via config) ordinary MPEG2 file from PVR-150, tried same film 3 times, it DOES go to the resume point, then jumps back to the start

Sub should probably look into this. resume is working for me but in early December I did mention that I thought he released a pvrx2 that was sending extra play requests but he patch that fixed this.

What I see really odd in your logs is this line after the line to set to what would be the resume position. I don't see this in my logs and I don't know where it comes from.

MVPSetPlaybackPosition() request to set position to: 168.08 seconds

You also get the DisplayStillInUse message whatever that is.

Was there ever a resolution to this? I upgraded from 98.13 to 1.1.5 yesterday and my wife said resume has stopped resuming. Does the msi download get updated with whatever patches have come out, or do I need to go through and find them all?
