recently got a dbox 500s so thought i;d try this plugin but can't get GBPVR to recognise it as a capture source?

if i try ro register the dll manually, i get error message

"dboxrecorder.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file can not be registered"

tried on two pc's running latest gbpvr, any ideas?

after messing around with creating a subfolder in the plugins directory, i seem to have the plugin at least recognised. will have to read the 17 page thread as i cant load the tv channels, loads the radio ones though, probably the dreambox image i have, "PLi®-Iolite-DM500"

Hi,

I never really tested it with an enigma image as I'm using neutrino, but I tried to add support for it anyway. However, there has been one user who reported that it works.

could you try to call
Code:
192.168.1.7/cgi-bin/getServices?ref=1:15:fffffffe:12:ffffffff:0:0:0:0:0:
manually, e.g. from a web browser, and see if you get any results?

Alibert, yes, manually entering that string in my browser gave the list of tv channels, the response was like below

okay, then it seems that the request just times out because it takes too long until the complete list is received by the plugin. Have you already tried to increase the timeout to the largest value (on the "Settings" tab page of the plugin's configuration form)?

set the timeout slider to large, no difference.

Hi,

sorry, then I don't know what's going wrong. If you have enough patience, you could still try to enter some channels manually into the DboxRecorder_N.xml config file:

Each line from your above posting correspondends to a channel, providing the following information:
Code:
1:0:1:{SID}:{TID}:{ONID}:{Namespace}:0:0:0:
To have the same format like neutrino, the plugin constructs the channel id the following way:
Code:
{TID}{ONID [4 digits, padded with zeros on the left]}{SID [4 digits, padded with zeros on the left]}
E.g. the channel TRT-INT should have the following id:
Code:
300c013e0001
The namespace would be:
Code:
820000

This would result in the following entry in the config file (with the corresponding gbpvr source channel number):
Code:
<TvChannel>
  <Name>TRT-INT</Name>
  <Id>300c013e0001</Id>
  <NameSpace>820000</NameSpace>
  <GbpvrNumber>1</GbpvrNumber>
</TvChannel>

OK, got the TV working by manually entering the channel details like your example. (i did BBC 1,BBC 2, Premier 1 and Premier sport1.)

haven't tried parental lock channels, is that possible?

i had to replace the cygwin1.dll that came with the plugin with one that was already on the PC to get ggrab to work.

the radio stations records OK, (doesn't play live though, is it supposed to?)
even though i only selected 5 radio stations, the whole lot is listed when i select FM radio.

thanks for your help.

I think there is an additional parameter that you can edit in gbpvr's config.xml (something like "always buffer fm radio", I can't remember at the moment) to get it working.
