WOW Recording an HD channel via S-Video from STB

I have been playing with a couple of custom capture settings with constant bitrates and was I ever surprised to see how good the picture quality is recording an HD channel via the s-video connection of my 3350HD. Watching the recording after and the PQ was incredible. It wasn't quite as bright and crisp as true HD but better than anything I have ever recorded in PVRX2.

I do the same thing as a third tuner in case there are 3 shows scheduled at the same time. The picture, while not as nice as HD, beats the pants off of analog.

I was scratching my head until seeing the PVR150 in the sig.

Analog *can* look great, better than SDTV, depending, but most people don't have good enough reception.
