Playing Xvid on MVP

everything is working great with the MVP apart from video. everytime i select a video the screen goes blank for a few seconds then back to the screen where it says 'emulation mode, file system, music client etc etc'

P.S. using vista home premium

There are several hiccups with the default configuration in using Vista. Make sure your recordings directory and temp directory are not the root (c:\) folder and also that c:\temp exists and use the config.exe program to change them.

If that doesn't fix it please upload your gbpvr logs.

Edit you beat me with the logs! Check for c:\temp

well there was no c:\temp so i created the folder and in the config program changed the recordings directory to c:\temp but now when i try to play the screen just goes black...

EDIT: changed video and audio decoders to MPEG Video/Audio Decoder and now everythings working great, thanks for all the help!!!
