Very annoying issue coming out of stanby

I'm currently using PVRX2 with Eventghost along with my Hauppauge MCE remote. I was able to map all the buttons, but had to setup the stanby function manually. It works, the pc goes into standby and comes out. However, everytime it goes into standby, I would lose focus on the PVRX2 app. I then would have to close out of the app using my mouse, and then could restart it using the remote, which then works fine.

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. It started when I applied this patch: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php...8&postcount=11, to fix a black screen when coming out of standby.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

can you map an eventGhost to have a mouse click on the screen to get the focus back? you can also map an eventGhost using pskill.exe to kill the PVRX2 session from remote then start PVRX2 app again.

For me I am able to use the green button to start PVRX2 and repress it to have the focus back.

Thanks for your advice and I will give that a shot. However, it may be something related to what I've done on my system. My standy was working fine, but since I used the XP Dual Core patch, that's what ended up being the outcome. Also, before using the patch, I used the process afinity tool, but didn't check the standy function then.

I did notice that afer resuming, and after PVRX2 comes up, when i press the remote buttons, they do work because the light on my receiver lights up. If I use my mouse and click on the screen and try to use the remote, it still doesn't work.

I will give your advice a shot, but doubt i'll have any sucess.

I think I figured out what's going on with my setup.

My remote stops working after coming out of standy with PVRX2, when running is VMR9 FSE mode. If I put it in VMR9 Custom, everythings fine. It will go into standby and come out with a functioning remote.

Anyone have this issue?
