I haven't been able to log in all day and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? The logon button does nothing and everything else I've tried fails too.

The site has a different look so I'm assuming they're having some sort of trouble or something.

A second registration seemed to take for a while until I shut down then restarted the browser. I even clicked on the confirmation email link and it said "user doesn't exist", I do exist dammit.

I'm afraid to go look at my EPG for fear of seeing a mess. Nothing has failed to record so far anyway.

Oh well..................

I logged on last night without a problem. My EPG had the dreaded "6 hour long shows" listed so I had to empty the EPG and download new listings from zap2it.

It's working from here this morning as well. I don't log in from their home page though. I go directly to http://tvlistings.zap2it.com Perhaps that makes a difference?

I know this is gonna sound WAAY noobish, but I thought zap2it either wasn't around or didn't work with gbpvr anymore?

I've been using yapi (with yahoo and xmltv). I'll switch to zap if it works better or someone can tell how to work it.

I just had that the past couple days, too, except my shows were 36 hours long. Looks like it's fixed with the -N command. I had the command in there the entire time but of course never had put a number after it. Rolleyes
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

I've always had "-N 2" command, but for some reason I still get odd EPG results occasionally. A manual intervention cures it pretty quickly though.

Now my EPG is all screwed up.

I wondered why I had a 28 gig Letterman file and so I checked the EPG only to find a bunch of shows spanning several pages and "no show details" on about 90% of the rest of the slots, even when the long shows weren't showing further ahead.

I'm gonna check my acct at Zap2it, then dig into the config to see what's going on.

I'm bad about just letting the thing clock along for long periods of time, which is good, but when something does go haywire I've got to re-educate myself all over again cause I've forgotten all the little bits. Like where that script is with the -N or whatever for the new shows.

Off I go to obsess over it 'til it's fixed. Crimony, can't have the PVR down. Smile

Here's how I fixed mine:

1. Deleted all the files from the "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Third Party\Zap2xml\cache" directory.

2. Manaully ran updateEPG.bat from the GB-PVR directory. This downloads a whole new EPG (because the cache files are gone) then creates the proper zap2xml.xml file.

3. Went into config.exe, selected the EPG and then clicked on the "Empty EPG" button. It warns that recordings will also be deleted, but none of mine were. (There were only 3 and I have no recurring recordings scheduled, so your results may be different!)

4. Clicked on the "Update EPG" button. It appears that this imports data from the zap2xml.xml file that was created in step 2.

My EPG seems to be fine since I did that. Smile
