Does anyone know of a suitable exe that would allow gbpvr to output a straight channel number on the serial port?

I'm designing a interface to my set top box (Austar Titan), its IR codes are short and fast and I cant get the MCE IR blasters to work, so I'm going to control it with an IR transmitter that I'm designing.

I just need to feed it the channel number via the serial port, 3 bytes followed by a # perhaps.

Do you need the piece of program that communicates with the serial port and receives the channel number from GBpvr? Or do you already have that program and just need GBpvr to send the channel number to it?

If it's the latter, you just set it in the config app: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...nelChanger

I'm looking for a simple program that will talk to the serial port, one that gbpvr can pass the channel number to, and it then outputs it to the serial port.

Is that where the channel changer option comes in? Somewhere in the config there is a line to select the channel changer which is just an exe I think. I am sure there is one to send it to the serial port.
I am also after a similar thing, however I would be happy to just know what/how PVRx2 sends the data. Does anyone know how it works?
