I've tried searching, googling, I cannot find any answers to this one.

I am running the newest version of GBPVR (1.29 is it?). I am watching simple Analog NTSC TV through Cable. After watching for a while and flipping through channels, suddenly upon a channel change Live TV goes black and although I can change channels, it shows nothing but a black screen.

Update: I've noticed this happens usually when I stop recording something and want to change to another channel (manual recording, or the auto recording it does...)

I can still listen to music or watch imported videos on the hard drive, but live tv goes totally dead.

I'm running an AMD 3000+ CPU with 1 gig of ram and Windows 2003 Server with minimal services running. (All playback when functional is fine and smooth)

The only way I can resolve this issue is by restarting, but with having to restart what seems like every 30 - 60 mins (depending on whats on, what is recording or not), it's getting really annoying Sad

Any ideas?

Post the logs next time it happens and I'll take a look.

Thanks

Sorry, but which logs do you want to see? All of them?

It could be anything, so attach a complete set of the logs.

and had it crashed immediately prior to posting these logs? (ie, should only need to look at the ends of the logs?)

All of the logs you attached just seem to show the app failing to startup because VMR9 isnt supported on your machine.

I just restarted the computer....

went to live TV, changed channels, pressed stop on the remote, clicked back on live TV, Stop, and Live TV, change channel... then I got a black screen with no further channels coming in.

I realize this was more of a drastic test, but it is these actions alone that seem to cause this...

logs attached

What do you have the 'deinterlacing' setting set to on the bottom/left of the misc tab? The default is 'encoder pass through'. Any other value is likely to have problems.
