Fatal Unhandled Exception when accessing Web Interface

Hello All,

Not sure whether to put this here or in the main support thread but here goes.

Updated to v1.2.9. and have been testing the system since. I have noticed that whenever I try to access the Web Interface everthing grinds to a halt. Have looked through the logs and have spotted this in the GBPVRRecordingService log:

Any ideas what might be causing this? I do not have the "Enable NMT Client streaming extensions" enabled & I have tried moving ports. I cannot find anything else in NETSTAT trying to use the port and have disabled all non-essential applications. Please find the full logs attached if its any help.

Try changing the gbpvrrecordingservice service to have the allow to interact with desktop option set.

Sorry about the delay in the reply, I had to pop off for a bit for work and have not had chance to try your suggestion until now.

I have set the "interact with desktop" option on for the GBPVRRecordingService but I'm afraid that this has not solved the issue. It still fails to work and shows the same message in the logs as before.

Does it do it when the recording service starts after a clean reboot?

Are you sure you dont have some other application installed that is using the same port?

Yes, it happens after a clean reboot. I've tried disabling the startup of the PVRX2 app, and it still throws the same error when accessed.

I'm pretty sure theres nothing else using the port. I have checked NETSTAT to see if anything says it is, and have tried a few different ports just to be sure.

It's very odd. I haven't really installed much on that machine as its running as a STB for ages now, but i'll have a double check to see if anything has crept onto it thats chewing up ports that it shouldn't.
