well got busy the last two weeks and never got back to setting ultra xmltv back up on vista x64. i donwload the newest build to see what had changed. well i start UltraXMLTV_Enhancer.exe progam and it asks me to reinstall autocad 2009 and i need my discs so something is wrong and i cancel and then i get a error that says component msinet.ocx is missing and exits.
anyideas?

well i fixed the msi issue with autocad 2009 and i got the ocx file fixed buy installing them in wow64 with cmd.exe from windows/wow64 instead of windows/system32
but now when i click on UltraXMLTV_Enhancer.exe i get a error popup that says not a xml file and then it the program closes

OK. It seems that during your testing a setting got corrupted in the registry. I'm releasing a new version very shortly, and I will have it that when it has that error it will simply reset the file path and remove the registry value.

Then you will have select you xmltv file again...

okay i got to open but it is chewing up the output from MceEpg2XmlTv into garbage that can't be read by gbpvr

Frank, remove the character after "UltraXMLTV Enhancer v1.2.64 " in the program output. I assume it's the copyright character. I don't think it is utf-8 compliant.

well every paid programing entry in the guide has the donation stuff after running ultraxmltv not sure it is suppose to be that way.

Damn. It looked good too. GB-PVR displays it fine. But yeah, the MCE output is utf-8 when the rest of my sample files from around the world is iso-8859-1

I tried to change the encoding during the Enhnace, but that never worked...

New Version will have the copyright symbol replaced...

yeah after i removed the 3060 times it was in there it loaded fine. but a little more then a small nag. Sad
