Audio options on PCH-A-100

I have a projector (that takes DVI) that I would like to use with the PCH. If I use a HDMI-to-DVI cable that goes to the projector, can I still use the SPDIF audio to my receiver to provide 5.1 audio? Or does using HDMI out confine the audio to that route?
I guess if I use the component video out, then the SPDIF audio should work, but I already have the component video inputs in use.
I'm just trying to figure out if I need to upgrade to a receiver that has HDMI inputs and outputs before I can use the PCH with GBPVR to full effect.
Any thoughts?

haripj, I think that question is better for the PCH board. I know during testing in my equivalent of sub's bat cave, I use HDMI to DVI and I can't test digital out but I know that analog audio out doesn't seem to work. However because the PCH doesn't have built in DTS, an external DTS decoder via "raw output" is required and I'm pretty sure that most people are doing this through their receiver's.

SPDIF will work depending on what you have set in the PH audio configuration. If set to raw you will receive 5.1.
