Timeshift stop after about 1 hour

Hi,

I have a small problem with timeshift. It works fine but after more 1 hour (or 1h30 I havn't the exactly time) of play, it stop and return to the main menu.
Is there a parameter wich say that timeshift size or timeshift time don't exceed a certain value.

I don't think there is a limit but i might be wrong.

check that you have enough free disk space where your live tv buffer is defined.

run pvrx2 in a window and in windows explorer, monitor the size of the temp file during timeshift and monitor free disk space.

Also make sure you are using NTFS and not FAT32 file system.

Hi sub,

Here's the logs files. After 1 hour of play (I can see in the green progress bar) I can't play the following sequence of timeshift . I have the first image but don't play. If I try to push pause nothing else. The file is present in my directory timeshif but if I try to play with mediaplayer same problem (I don't have play button but only pause button).

Other recording wich are made without timeshift work fine. I can play without problem. It seems there is a problem when timeshift switch the file after one hour.

Can you also post the pvrx2.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log files that go with these?

I have experienced exactly the same problem. After 1 hour and a few seconds it went back to live TV. There was plenty of free space on my HDD so it's not lack of disk space. There seems to be a 1 hour limit on pausing live TV. If you are watching a programme or a film over an hour long then it will come out of pause after an hour and you will miss most of the latter part of the programme or what's on next.
