Hi there, I have just bought a Hauppage Nova-T-500 Dual tuner card.

All installed ok, no problems with that.

I was advised by a friend not to use the awfull software and to try GB-PVR.

I have installed it ok, attempted to go through config, and added both the Tuners.

I then scan for channels it finds about 80 or 90 which is ok, and displays them in the preview window. Once scanned if I click on the list of channel to change one in the preview window I get an exception error, details in attached txt file. I can click continue and add both tuners and then exit the config.

When I then open up PVRX2 and select Live TV, it does nothing apart from go back to the menu. I can see the channels in the EPG list, if I select watch one from there again nothing.

I have tested the card with the supplied Hauppage software and can use it fine, but really would like to use GB-PVR due to the better GUI etc.

Thanks in advance.

The most recent pvrx2.exe.log in that zip contains all sorts of stuff about updating the EPG etc, so its pretty hard to follow.

Restart PVRX2.exe, then try to view live tv, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log files. This should give me a log file without as much crap to wade through.

Can you post a matching set of PVRX2.exe.log and PVRX2.exe-native.log files? Note the "-3" part of the native filename in the zip. It contains different stuff to the other log, so its difficult to join up.

No, dont think that is the problem. It doesnt matter if the "MPEG-2 Sections and Tables filter" connects or not.

The 'divide by zero' error he's getting is most likely related to the video decoder he's using.

Would I be better clearing all log files, rebooting and creating the error again. If so will try it tomorrow as at work now.

Thanks again

Unfortunately I cant see an obvious cause in the logs.
