NOVA-T 500 or HVR-2200

Hi. I'm deciding between these 2 dual tuner cards for GBPVR. Does anyone know the pros and cons between them?

The NOVA-T is pci while the HVR-2200 is pci-express. I've both types of slots available so that is not an issue.

The most obvious difference is the HVR-2200 also supports analog.

I've just ordered the 2200 which is supposed to be in stock 25 April. It's only $11 dearer than the 500 but I will be able to sell my two PVR150's (TM price around $60 ea, it seems), free up my PCI slots (don't know what for!) and probably cut down on power. Seems a pretty good bargain for $20 or so

Another consideration is it is better for me to flog the 150s now while they still have some value.

Hi sub, I believe that the analog uses the SAA7164 hardware encoder which is not yet supported by by GBPVR. Do you have plans to support it?
