Cant scan channels DVB-S

Hi,

im trying to install GBPVR on my system witha hauppage dvb-s2 card pointing at Astra 2D (28.2e) this card works however it crashes whenever i scan for channels, it crashes on a different channel each time.

Ive speant a few hrs searching the forums to no avail. i am running vista home premium sp1

well the scan completed but it found no channels (but is said ch1 signal 3445 quality 94)

Did you apply the patch I mentioned above? If so, zip and attach the config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Do you know if discq works with this card? and do you know how i can use a cam (legally obtained)? I have a friend who once this works wants to have 4 lnb's connected to one pc.

There is no CAM support in GB-PVR.

Just ran the re-runfilters.bat and get the following error:

The module "GBPVRParser.ax" was loaded but the call to DllregisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005.

and it does this for:

WSTSRTAnalog.ax
WSTSRTDigital.ax
DVBSubtitles.ax
netasyncflt.ax
GBPVRSMuxr.ax

and we still do not find any channels

Are you on Vista? If so, you might need to run the bat file from a command prompt you started with "run as administrator".

Is there any work around to decrypt encrypted channels?

Some people use multidec plugins.
