Hi. I have homevideo HDV recordings that are captured as .m2t files that I want to watch with GBPVR (1.2.9).

I'm using the Nvidia MPEG-2 decoder and they playback fine but I need to rename the files to .ts for GBPVR to see them. How do I configure GBPVR to recognise .m2t file extension?

Also there is a problem when I try to resume after pausing in that it freezes for a few seconds (can be up to 40 secs) before it resumes playback (pvrx2 logs attached). I also get this problem playing back Freeview H.264 recordings with .ts extension. Is to be expected with playing .ts files? I don't get this problem with playing MPEG2 DVB-S recordings with .dvr-ms extensions.

Try adding it to the <VideoLibraryExtensions> setting in config.xml.

Thanks. It sort of worked. Picked up the .m2t file but can't detect correct aspect ratio during playback. Works fine when I rename the same file to .ts. Logs attached.

How is the file extension related to aspect ratio?

Unfortunately it wont be able to automatically correct the aspect ratio for this type of file. You'll probably need to press F7 to correct manually it.
