I've had a few recordings fail in the last few days.

Error in the log says:-

Any ideas what would cause this. The recording was programmed as a one-off from the TV Guide.

Zip and attach the GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

I think you've added your own "Leadtek LR6650" section to the bda.ini file, but have accidentally set the type to DVB-S instead of DVB-T?

Thanks for the pointer.

Yes I added the LR6650 to the BDA.ini months ago but have just realised the update from v1.1.5 to v1.2.9 has overwritten the file and effectively deleted the LR6650 entries.

I'll watch out for that on future updates.

Thanks again

Post the Leadtek LR6650 section and I'll add it to the master file. This will mean you wont have the problem in future, and other future users will the same device wont have to try to work out bda.ini themselves.

Here's the relevant section I added to the BDA.ini.

There are three LR6650 entries needed. Which one gets used depends on the version of the drivers loaded for the card (it's sometimes sold re-badged)

Thanks Sub.

Thanks.

To be consistent with how I've named other drivers that have done the same thing, I've included it as:

[Leadtek LR6650
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=WinFast LR6650 BDA DVB-T Tuner/Demod
FILTER_CAPTURE=WinFast LR6650 BDA Transport Stream Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

[Leadtek LR6650 type2]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=LR6650 BDA DVB-T Tuner/Demod (Thomson DTT7579)
FILTER_CAPTURE=LR6650 BDA Transport Stream Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

[Leadtek LR6650 type3]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=WinFast LR6650 BDA DVB-T Tuner/Demod (Thomson DTT7579)
FILTER_CAPTURE=WinFast LR6650 BDA Transport Stream Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

You probably want to update yours to be consistent and ensure a smooth upgrade.
