It's a seemingly simple task- I am trying to set up a PVR150 to get prime & juice TV, I cannot see how I can tune these channels in using config. I've already got an HVR2200 unning twin DVB-T and aside from some stability all is well, xmltvnz for the epg on windows vista. Anyone able to answer my dumb question?

use the tuning assistant (found in gbpvr folder)
write down the numbers you find
make sure you select cable rather than antenna (dont ask me why but it works)
edit tuner
update your epg and put the numbers in you find on the right they will be 1,2,3and so on at the moment
in hamilton prime is 319 not sure if its the same in auckland hence the reason using the tuning assistant

Thanks for that - tuning assistant picks it up fine @channel 316 and i've changed it to that in the direct recording setup - still get static

maybe you didnt add your tuner as cable
go back in and edit
make sure you tick the box that says only show devices on this machine
country :new zealand
board number :capture device #1
source: internal tuner
tuning /:cable

channel name : prime
enabled ticked
source channel:316

Oh cool yeah - the whole "cable" thing got me, - I'll try it tonight, pretty sure I'll have no problems now. Thanks for your help, really appreciate it.

you might also want to download the hauppauge tweak tool to sharpen the picture up
and theres a few other tweaks if you do a search
