has anyone seen this?

http://www.intel.com/design/servers/stor...ss4200-ehw

I am thinking of getting one so it can be a file/print/gbpvr server which is always on, it looks like the thing only draws about 80W at max load!! this one runs Windows Home Server (which you have to jump through hoops to get installed). Fujitsu-Siemens released a version which is preconfigured, but it does not appear to be available in the US. and they are also selling a SS4200-E version which comes with a version of Linux on it from EMC (which I would buy, if I didnt want to run GB-PVR).

you guys think its got the power to run a GB-PVR server (possibly with a HD-PVR)?

cheers!

it looks suspiciously like a intel 201gly board dressed up as a external hard drive..Smile
can't find any prices on it tho...[those MB are 69$]
better than a epia via itx but not that much horsepower...
should do sd fine, and a bit of hd [720p] but 1080i is probably out..
i bet it has a single pci slot if any...

there are some new MB that are sweet coming out soon..c2d, same itx size, intel's latest chipset + GMA 4500 HD and option of pciex slot...
probably another month before it hits shelves tho..

even tho, this might be a nice little server/recording machine..with one of those new boards for a client..Smile
Hardware: HDHR Prime, HDPVR 1212, Raspberry pi2, VFD display w/LCDSmartie
