new recordings not listed

I've noticed lately that some new recordings are not making it into the What's New list. I recorded My Name is Earl, 30 Rock, The Office, and ER. Only My Name is Earl and 30 Rock were in the list.

are the files on the hard drive or did they not record at all?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and I'll take a look.

The most common reason for this happening is the user has created a PostProcessing.bat, that is renaming or moving the recording, so GB-PVR is unable to find the file, so it isnt listed in the Recordings Screen. ...do you have a PostProcessing.bat file?

I do use PostProcessing.bat with RenameRecording, and though I don't seem to have a GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log (where do I turn on logging?, I have Logging Level at Debug with Enable Log Flushing on) there is a PostProcessing.log, and there it shows that RenameRecording failed to update the database after changing the file name for the following show.

So, I guess the issue is that the database is locked too often. I sometimes get that error when I try to cancel a show.

I"m sure it'll be rename recording causing your recordings not to appear. Try removing your PostProcessing.bat.
