Just run the install and that's it? Do I need to clean anything out or back anything up, or it should just work?

You only would need to back up anything if you created something custom yourself or made skin tweaks. The SkinPlugin will check for a placeholder file to trigger a cleanup if it is not there (Actually this is implemented in the previous version).

What do i have to install - i tend to always do the Community.zip and the skinPlugin.exe is that needed which one should I be doing?

If in doubt, SkinPlugin first, Community.zip second.

I include theme updates and such that are really part of the SkinPlugin as part of periodic CS updates. Easier than updating the big SkinPlugin download.
