One thing I notice, is ProcMon does 10s of thousands of ReadFiles when PVRX2 starts up. If I keep an eye on the logs, it's building indexes for the channels.

I'm trying to build up a collection of logs. I'll post ASAP.

I was using it for a few days, and I was going in and out of config, changing some settings in GameZone. It didn't happen the first time, but it did lock the database. No .locked file.

More logs.

I had rebooted, used the MVP to delete a folder.
Then went to the server, it had an unhandled exception (in recording service I believe) probably due to running out of hard drive space.
From the server I went to delete 'A Fish Called Wanda', which had recorded, and I'd since SkipTooled, but was in the Recordings listing as Failed.

The listing in recordings didn't delete. Database locked.

What did you do with skiptool? Did you transcode or just mark commercials?

Both.

I don't think it's Skip Tool. It doesn't seem tied to it. It happens even if I don't use Skip Tool.

Does MVP Server Checker do anything with the database? That's the only thing I haven't tried turning off.

Ok - I asked because the file extension is probably changing to an AVI and I didn't know what effect that would have.

It creates a new file, doesn't remove the old one.

In case this issue is still out there, I found this quote (while looking for something entirely different, of course):

Quote:Note that an SQLITE_LOCKED error is distinct from SQLITE_BUSY (5). SQLITE_BUSY means that another database connection (probably in another process) is using the database in a way that prevents you from using it. SQLITE_LOCKED means the source of contention is internal and comes from the same database connection that received the SQLITE_LOCKED error.

Does that help any? Hinder? Neither?
