I've set up my remote through USB-UIRT and it's working.
I was wondering if there was a method to rename the keys to match what's my remote has. For instance, I don't have a "Green" or "Blue" button. I had to look at the wiki documentation to see what they are supposed to do, and matched that with the keys on my remote I'd like to use for them.
It's really not a big issue, but if there's a way I can make it a bit more user-friendly I'd like to try it out.

Thanks,

No. These are what the application knows them as internally. You can use whatever button your want on your remote though when learning the signals via the USB-UIRT.

I dont know what you want rename though - the app doesnt show the words "Green" or "Blue" anyway, so there cant really see what you want to achieve.

Thanks.
I noticed that the file "USB-UIRT-remote.ini" is what binds the remote codes to the listed functions.
So for instance I would rename "BLUE" which is for "Show OSD", to "Info" which is the key on my remote. It would make programming the remote a little more intuitive. Or maybe even instead of the key names, it would be easier to have the function name.
Like I said above though, it's certainly not an issue, because once it's setup I shouldn't have to go back in there.

Thanks again Big Grin, do you ever sleep?? :p

It wouldnt really make sense to do that since the keys are used for different things on different screens. I personally stay away from the colour keys for most things, but during video playback might use 'blue' for showing the OSD, while a plugin might use it for 'sort by date'. etc. I think it makes more sense to leave it as 'blue', but I can see how your thinking took you to that suggestion.

Definitely not enough.
