Its been working fine over here. My movies are H264 in MP4 containers.
Check the type of file and then check permissions for the folder they are in.

I guess my problem is that almost all my movies are DVD ISO images.

It would be nice if MovieWiz would support ISOs on the PCH.

I don't believe this is a function of MovieWiz. It calls a GBPVR function (PlayDVDFromISO()), to play the ISO.

It is probably the PCH that cannot handle this format.

Sub or mvallevand can isolate where the problem is.

The built in screens use the same methods for playing ISO files, so it should work. I'm happy to look at the logs if someone posts them.

JavaWiz, are you possibly disallowing ISO playback on an MVP client? The PCH appears as an MVP in the app. When I allowed DVD playback on the PCH, it basically meant removing my current check that did nothing when an MVP user tried to play a .ISO file.

The DVD's the are played on the PCH screen come from the Video Library and not from the DVD menu option. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Nope, not checking for MVP when not playing on an external player. Here is the code:
Code:
[SIZE=2][COLOR=#2b91af]WizInfo[/COLOR][/SIZE][SIZE=2].LogMessage([/SIZE][SIZE=2][COLOR=#a31515]"MovieWiz"[/COLOR][/SIZE][SIZE=2], [/SIZE][SIZE=2][COLOR=#a31515]"PlayMovie()"[/COLOR][/SIZE][SIZE=2], [/SIZE][SIZE=2][COLOR=#a31515]"ISO - "[/COLOR][/SIZE][SIZE=2] + me.movieTitle);[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2][COLOR=#2b91af]PluginHelperFactory[/COLOR][/SIZE][SIZE=2].getPluginHelper().PlayDVDFromISO(movieLocation);[/SIZE]

dirkomatic, if you could post your logs, we may be able to locate the problem.

Yes, this sounds like the best next step.

I'll reload it tomorrow, give it a try and post the logs.

Thanks!
